New Comic series and explanation

In response to my previous post, Musings of a Heart Stricken With God was born as a casual comic travelogue to update on my musings with and about God.

My simple cover design for the journey ahead.

Just an elaboration of the first comic Sin. The post found a lot of encouragement in realizing the repetition in Deuteronomy and Joshua that depicts God’s faithfulness as well as God’s encouragement to Joshua to be “strong and courageous” realizing the daunting challenges and obstacles he’ll face as one entrusted with responsibilities by his maker. The NIV translation shows below:
(note: some verses are shorten to depict the repetition of these words)

Deuteronomy 31:6-8, 23 NIV

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”  … “Be strong and courageous… The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”   The Lord gave this command…“Be strong and courageous, … and I myself will be with you.”

Joshua 1:5-7, 9 NIV

No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous…   “Be strong and very courageous… Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

As for me, it’s a challenge to take the step to be uncomfortable, to be fearless, to be that which the God our Lord has entrusted upon me, it’s a challenge but I believe God has placed us where we are and we are called to Be Strong and Courageous. Cheers, let us pray and let us take action.

In His Embrace,
Mi-yue
