I think that there are too many broken Christians that keep things and hurts hidden in their hearts, believing that through salvation, they are given a face lift, a permanent smile.
And that there are too many people in churches who are comfortable compartmentalization their life by segregating it from the suffering of others.
I feel that there are too many words and advice easily thrown out of mouths, be it from the immature young or the proud mature individual in church.
There must come a point where our lives must be bigger than our life, our own expectations (and that includes our expectations in our spiritual life)… It must be bigger than where we are placed to be. It must be bigger than the question “What am I doing here on this Earth”. It must be bigger.
There must come a point when we must refuse to blind ourselves further and to start being courageous in being hurt and vulnerable.
There must come a point when you and I grow.
