A short fairytale

There was once a fair maiden
whose eyes sparkled like snow
in the bright wintery morning.

Should she held her hand
up into the air
the world would bless her with all the stars in the universe.

Her wishes
no matter how small
were granted by the sun and moon.

Her tears that never fall
would have glistened like pearls
before swine
finding no meaning in their existence.

There was once a fair maiden
who could choose
to remain ignorant
and be free.

but then
she chose me.
